Book

It is a great privilege to work with plants on exciting projects in different places and we get to do it every day. You may know that as well as working on selected projects for us, Andrew is also Director of Environmental Design at the London College of Garden Design, based in Kew Gardens. It’s here that he founded a course in planting design in 2012 which to this day is the only one of its kind in the world. He has always wanted to spread the word of what great planting can do for a landscape, how to put it centre of any design, and so this year sees the publication of his new book ‘The Modern Professional Planting Designer’ published by Rizzoli New York on this very subject.

Andrew says “For me this book is partly about the future of planting design within ecology. It is about restoring and regenerating our resources (materials, soil, moisture and plants), through planting design, leaving footsteps others can follow.”

The book is widely available although we would encourage you to order from an independent bookshop which you can do by visiting –
