Caring Homes’ Riverside Place wins Healthcare Design Award
Part of our work includes the design of gardens for new care homes and sheltered residential developments. Fisher Tomlin and Bowyer are therefore delighted that a project we have worked on for the past 4 years has won ‘Best New Care Home’ (higher development budget) in the prestigious healthcare design awards. The gardens were an integral part of the design from the planning stage and unusually include roof gardens as well as ground level gardens.
The gardens include sheltered spaces in order to enjoy the space in all weathers as well as areas for active therapy such as kitchen gardens and gardening activities in glasshouse and communal activities such as potting up bulbs.
