Guildford Farmhouse

Farmhouse project

This 1860 Guildford farmhouse has undergone a complete refurbishment and architectural renovation including creating new kitchen and family rooms, study and laundry. The existing garden had a collection of great specimen trees including traditional and copper Beeches and a magnificent Magnolia but having been neglected for a number of years a completely new design was commissioned.

The challenge always is to incorporate great existing planting, like the trees and this has been achieved in the design whilst planting a new layer of tree cover, extensive paved areas including terraces and paths, a substantial new driveway and entrances with perennial borders and a new rose garden.
