Wimbledon Village Garden

SW19 garden design for family entertaining

2016

Many gardens have challenging slopes not just away from the house but often from one side to another. This garden design in Wimbledon Village is a perfect example of a family garden on different levels where our client wanted to create as much usable level space especially for children’s play. What it means is that we need to put extra attention into the level changes, utilising what we have on site and maximizing the space for terraces and year round planting interest.

A large terrace overlooks the garden with clear views out to see where young children are playing. There is plenty of space for growing vegetables as well as trampoline and table tennis and for those long summer evenings a firepit at the end of the garden using dry stone walling provides the perfect finish to the day.
